Eleven of the 69 bays on this site record some accessibility provision.
They are the larger serviced bays, which is where ramps, parking and toilets tend to be. Eight are in Malta and three are in Gozo.

Golden Bay records the most facilities of any bay on the islands, with thirteen. Għadira, Armier, Ħondoq and Marsalforn each record ten or eleven.
What the tag covers
The tag covers provision like a ramp, a boardwalk, parking close to the shore and accessible toilets.
It does not mean every part of the bay is step-free. A ramp to the sand is not the same as a route to the water.
Check the individual bay page, and check again in winter. Some ramps and boardwalks are seasonal and come out with the sunbeds.
Parking, toilets and showers
All eleven record toilets. Ten of the eleven record parking, the exception being Buġibba Perched Beach, which sits on the promenade.
Only Golden Bay and Armier record showers. Everywhere else, plan to leave the sand on you.
Parking at Golden Bay and Għadira fills by mid-morning in summer, so the close spaces go first.
Sand or rock
Five of the eleven are sand: Golden Bay, Għadira, Armier, St George’s and Pretty Bay.
A wheelchair does not roll on soft sand without a boardwalk or a beach chair. On the sand bays that decides whether you reach the water.
Exiles and Qawra Point are flat rock with ladders into deep water. Easier to reach, harder to get into the sea.
The rest of the coast
The other 58 bays record nothing. Thirty-one have no facilities at all.
Many are reached down a track or a long flight of steps cut into the cliff. Ħondoq aside, most of the Gozo coast falls into that category.
If access matters, the eleven above are the ones to plan around.
Ring the bay’s kiosk or the local council before travelling if a specific facility decides the day. Provision changes between seasons.
