We do not sell a place in a ranking, a review score, or a mention presented as editorial when it is paid. Our recommendations are not for sale at any price.
Our recommendations are worth something to your customers only because they are not for sale.

- Newsletter sponsorshipOne sponsor per issue of Central Weekly, at the top of the email, and never more than one.
What we will not do
We do not sell position in a ranking or remove a competitor. We do not publish a sponsored piece without labelling it. We do not insert links into existing editorial pages, or write a review in exchange for payment or a free visit. If you are looking for any of that, we are the wrong site, and we would rather say so now than waste your time.
Rate card
These are the standard rates. Everything is sold by the month or by the piece and there is no minimum spend. Audience figures for the section you are interested in come with the quote.
What it costs
- Section banner
- €180 a month. One section — Getting around, Where to stay, Eat and drink, and so on — on every guide inside it.
- Site-wide banner
- €420 a month. Every guide on the site, in the same two sizes.
- Sponsored article
- €500. A full piece written to the same standard as everything else, labelled as sponsored wherever it appears, and it stays up rather than expiring.
- Article and newsletter together
- €650. The article, plus the lead slot in one issue of Central Weekly.
- Newsletter sponsorship
- €120 an issue. One sponsor per issue, at the top, no more.
- Longer bookings
- Three months takes ten per cent off the monthly rate. Twelve months takes twenty.
Banners need two files. A wide banner squeezed into a phone column cannot be read, and a small square stretched across a desktop looks blurred. Send 970×250 for desktop and tablet, and 300×250 for phones. If it is easier, send the brief and we will make both.
