A rocky point on the eastern side of the Delimara peninsula, facing the sunrise across open water. It is flat rock at the edge with deep water below and no beach in any sense of the word.
Nothing is provided and there is usually nobody here. It catches the morning sun, which makes it good early and unpleasant by midday, because there is no shade at all. The point is open from the east round to the south, which is a wide arc. Use it when the wind is coming from the west.
It is sheltered from the north-north-east round to the east-north-east, the south-south-west to the south-west and the west round to the north-west. There is no open water on those bearings for a wind to build a swell across. It is open to the east round to the south, where the sea runs for kilometres before it reaches this shore. A wind out of the west-south-west and the north-north-west to the north has some water to work with but not the full run.
