Imġiebaħ is a sandy bay on the far side of the Selmun ridge. The only way in on foot is a steep track down from the end of the road above. The walk down takes about fifteen minutes. The climb back up in August is hard, which keeps the bay empty.
There is nothing at the bottom. People camp here, walk dogs and arrive by boat. In the cooler months the walk over from Mistra is one of the better coastal routes in the north. It is open to the north and north-east, so it is not a bay to attempt on a rough day.

Which winds this bay can take
It is sheltered from the east-north-east round to the north-west. There is no open water on those bearings for a wind to build a swell across. It is open to the north round to the north-east, where the sea runs for kilometres before it reaches this shore. A wind out of the north-north-west has some water to work with but not the full run.
