Crystal Lagoon is the deeper, quieter counterpart to the Blue Lagoon on the other side of the point. Cliffs come down to the water on both sides and there is no shore. You enter from a boat, or by working round the rocks from the lagoon.
The water is dark blue rather than turquoise because of the depth under it. There is nothing here: no shade, no facilities and nowhere to leave anything dry. Most people see it from one of the boats running in and out all day rather than by swimming to it.
The boats that run into Crystal Lagoon are the same ones that serve the Blue Lagoon. It is part of a Comino trip rather than a separate one. You can book a Comino boat trip through Klook.
This bay is reached by boatAlmost everybody arrives here on a booked trip rather than on foot.

Which winds this bay can take
It is sheltered from the west-north-west round to the south. There is no open water on those bearings for a wind to build a swell across. It is open to the south-west round to the west, where the sea runs for kilometres before it reaches this shore. A wind out of the south-south-west has some water to work with but not the full run.

Measured as metres of open water on each bearing out from the shore. This is the bay’s own geography and it does not change; whether it is swimmable this afternoon is the reading at the top of the page, which also weighs how hard the wind is actually blowing.
