The twenty fourth Junior Eurovision Song Contest, with sixteen countries taking part. It is the third time Malta has hosted it, after 2014 and 2016, and the first time the contest has been held in October.
It is at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre in Ta’ Qali. The hall is being built out as a Eurovision Festa Village, with the stage set dressed as a Maltese village feast.
How the night works
Singers are aged between nine and fourteen and each country sends one song. The whole show runs about two hours. Unlike the adult contest there are no semi-finals, so every country performs on the night.
Malta did not win its way to hosting. France won in 2025 and the European Broadcasting Union picks a host from the broadcasters who want it. PBS put its hand up and runs the production.

Tickets had not been announced when this page was written. They will be sold through the official contest channels, so anyone selling you one before the official on-sale is selling you something else.
