The Ħamrun Chocolate Festival is on Saturday 17 October 2026. Entry is free.
The high street through Ħamrun closes to traffic and fills with stalls for the day.
What is there
Chocolate stalls, bakers and local producers line Triq il-Kbira San Ġużepp, the main street.
There is street entertainment through the day and activities for children.
It is a village street festival rather than a ticketed event. You walk in, and you pay for what you buy.
Getting there
Ħamrun sits just inland of Floriana, on the old main road, and plenty of bus routes pass through it.
Do not drive in. The main street is closed and the side streets fill up.
Check before you set off
The 2025 edition was postponed on the day because of a bad weather forecast. It is an outdoor street event with nothing under cover.
