Attractions

Għarb is a village in the west of Gozo, near Ta' Pinu and the Wied il-Mielah arch.

Għajnsielem sits above the Mġarr ferry harbour, so it is the first place you reach in Gozo.

Fontana is a small village just below Victoria, built around a spring where women once did the washing.

Żurrieq is a village in the south. It is the way down to the Blue Grotto at Wied iz-Żurrieq.

Żejtun is a town in the south-east. It has a Roman villa in a school yard and a very large parish church.

Żebbuġ is one of the oldest towns on the island, out in the middle of the country west of Qormi.

Żabbar is a large town east of the Three Cities, with a big feast in September.

Xgħajra is a small coastal village east of Żabbar, facing open sea.

Tarxien is a town in the south. The most decorated of the temples stands in it.

Ta' Xbiex is a small district of embassies and yacht marinas on the Msida creek.
